We use your information to reply, understand your shop, develop and refine designs, agree order details, arrange production and delivery, and provide order support. We also keep records needed to administer our business and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their marketing.
The services that help us deliver.
Our website and enquiry process use hosting, enquiry storage, email and security providers, including Vercel, Supabase and Cloudflare Turnstile. Partners helping with design, production or delivery receive the information needed for their part of your project. These services and partners may process information in different countries. Contact us if you need details about how information for your project is handled before sharing it. The design-use arrangements are explained in our Terms.
Understanding visits. Protecting enquiries.
When you change your display currency or delivery region, we store those preferences in first-party cookies for up to six months so we can remember them on your next visit. They are not used for advertising. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated visitor statistics, such as pages viewed, referring sites, approximate location and device or browser type. This analytics service does not use cookies, and we do not send enquiry form contents to it or use it for advertising profiles. Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and request signals to help protect the enquiry form from spam. Hosting and security services may also process technical information needed to operate and protect the site.
If we contacted your shop first.
We may find your shop through public business information, such as your website or business listing, and contact you about merchandise relevant to your shop. If you would rather not hear from us, reply to the email or contact hello@placemerch.com. We will stop outreach and retain only the minimal record needed to respect your preference, unless other records are needed for an order or legal obligation.
Kept for a purpose, not indefinitely.
We keep information for as long as needed for your enquiry, design project, order and support, and for applicable record-keeping obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect it and limit access to people and services that need it. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Email hello@placemerch.com to ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing records. If we need to retain something for a legal obligation or an ongoing order, we will explain why. We will respond to your concern and work with you to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about available privacy complaint options.
