What the service is
PlaceMerch researches your shop and its place, then our designer creates and refines the artwork — including revisions based on your feedback — before you approve the final design, quote and quantity for production.
No obligation until you approve
We propose the design and quote before anything is made. Nothing goes into production until you approve the artwork, garment, quantity and final price.
How these terms apply
These terms apply when you approve a PlaceMerch quote or place an order. The version available at that time applies to your order.
Customer materials and our artwork
You keep ownership of the logos, business names, trade marks, photographs and other materials you provide. PlaceMerch retains the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the artwork and production files we create. Your quote covers the approved products and services; it does not include a transfer of copyright or production files.
Selling and reordering
You may sell the finished products supplied by PlaceMerch and use photographs of them, or images we provide, to promote their sale. We keep the production files and coordinate production and reorders through our production partners. Approval previews are provided for review and are not licensed for production by another manufacturer.
Design reuse
An uncustomized place-based design may be offered to other merchants. A customized version created specifically for your shop — including one containing your branding or other identifying details — is specific to your shop and will not be offered to another merchant. PlaceMerch may continue to use the underlying uncustomized place-based design, provided your branding and shop-specific changes are not included.
Payment and final pricing
The final price is set by your confirmed quote, which reflects the garment, print, quantity and delivery destination. The starting price shown on the landing page is indicative only.
Sales outcomes and order support
Sales depend on customer demand, so PlaceMerch cannot guarantee resale outcomes. If there is a problem with an order, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply only to quotes approved or orders placed after the updated version is published.
