Tell us about your shop and the products you have in mind. Choose an existing design or develop a custom one with us. We review and refine it with you, then confirm the product, print, quantity, delivery and final price. An enquiry or design conversation does not commit you to an order. Production starts only after you approve the design and order details.
Your custom design stays with your shop.
The final custom design we create specifically for your shop is reserved for your business. We will not sell, license or supply that shop-specific design to another merchant, including a version that simply swaps out your name or logo. You may sell the products we supply and use photographs of them, or promotional images we provide, to market those products. This reservation does not depend on placing regular reorders.

Your custom design is provided as part of our design-and-production service. PlaceMerch arranges its manufacture and any reorders through our production partners, so we can manage artwork, print specifications and product consistency together. The permission to use our design covers selling and promoting products supplied through PlaceMerch; it does not include making copies yourself or having another manufacturer reproduce or adapt it for production. Production files and editable artwork are not included in the order. You have no obligation to reorder, and this arrangement does not prevent you from buying other products or using your own materials elsewhere.
Your brand remains yours.
You keep the rights you hold in your business name, logo, photographs and other materials you supply. Please share only materials you have permission for us to use. You allow us and the partners working on your order to use them to develop, produce and deliver your products. PlaceMerch retains the rights it holds in the original artwork and production files it creates; buying products does not transfer those rights. This does not give us ownership of your brand.
A shared place. A clear design agreement.
Some city, neighbourhood and landmark designs are part of our reusable collection and may be supplied to more than one shop. We will identify any shared design or existing artwork used in your proposal before you approve it. Your shop-specific version remains reserved for you; only the underlying shared artwork may be reused, without your branding or custom additions. A place, landmark, general theme or visual style is not exclusive to one shop. Your approval details will make clear which design is custom and which elements are shared.
Know what is included before you order.
Prices depend on the product, quantity and delivery destination. Each regional offer states its currency and what is included. Design development and refinement are included with your order. Reference prices are indicative; your final quote confirms the product options, print, delivery costs and timing for your destination. We do not add separate charges for services included in your agreed offer. Your order confirmation records the specification, currency, final amount and payment arrangements before you commit.
One point of contact for your order.
If your products arrive damaged, faulty or different from the approved specification, contact us with your order details and photographs where useful. We will work with you to resolve the issue. Tell us promptly if you need to change an approved order; we will explain what is still possible before agreeing any change or cost. Sales estimates are illustrations, not promises of resale results. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
The agreement for your order.
PlaceMerch is operated by an Australian sole trader based in Melbourne, Australia. These terms and the order details agreed with you apply when you approve a quote or place an order. Any different design-use arrangement must be expressly agreed in writing by both of us. Later updates to these terms do not change an order already agreed.
